Clarity in an Age of Misinformation

No Narrative is Meant to Be Sold

The Truth

According to a recent study by Security.org, over 90% of Americans now report fact-checking news stories themselves, and more than half say their trust in both traditional and social media has declined significantly in the past year. This erosion of trust reflects a growing public awareness that the information we receive is often filtered, biased, or outright manipulated. It also underscores the urgent need for journalism that prioritizes transparency, depth, and intellectual honesty.

Borderlines was created in response to this crisis, as a platform committed to providing clear, well-researched analysis of global affairs, free from the distortion of partisan agendas or propaganda.

Our Mission

Borderlines was born out of frustration. I was tired of seeing global issues reduced to talking points, of watching important international stories filtered through the lens of political bias or media spectacle. I believe people deserve better, not just better reporting, but better tools to understand what’s going on.

This project is about delving beyond surface-level narratives and uncovering the truth. It’s about understanding how governments, corporations, and institutions make decisions that affect real people every day, from inflation and gas prices to border security and international conflict. I write for readers who want depth over clickbait, substance over spin, and a more honest conversation about how power works in the world.

What we stand for

Fighting for the Truth

Fighting for the Truth •

Why Does it Matter to You.

It’s easy to think of politics and international issues, abstract forces — issues that only affect diplomats, politicians, or foreign affairs experts. But the truth is: they shape your life every single day.

When global conflicts disrupt supply chains, you feel it in rising prices at the grocery store. When governments impose sanctions or tariffs, it changes what you can afford, how businesses operate, and what opportunities exist in your local economy. When migration laws are rewritten, they affect families, communities, and entire generations of people seeking safety and stability. And when media narratives are distorted or manipulated, the public loses its ability to respond, resist, or even understand what’s happening.

Borderlines exists because I believe this knowledge shouldn’t be locked behind academic paywalls or filtered through ideological news cycles. Everyone deserves access to thoughtful, honest analysis of the systems that govern their world, not just to be informed, but to be empowered.

I didn’t start this platform to impress institutions. I started it because I care deeply about truth, and because I know what it feels like to look at the world and wonder what’s going on. My goal is to help bridge that gap. To give readers not just information, but insight. And to remind all of us that global events don’t happen in isolation — they happen on our streets, in our schools, and in our homes.

This is for anyone who wants to make sense of the world, one layer at a time.
